2020 Toyota RAV4 Driving

Driver-Assisting Technology Features

Both these midsize SUVs come outfitted with their respective driver-assisting technology systems: Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0 and Ford Co-Pilot360™. Each system incorporates exterior features that measure speed and distance to determine the likelihood of a collision based on those factors. Using warnings and brake pressure, these systems can help reduce the force of impact while giving you time to prevent a collision altogether.

Each vehicle offers pre-collision systems and lane-keeping systems. The Toyota RAV4, however, also features systems like Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, and Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. This latter feature allows you to set your desired cruising speed while keeping a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. It will even adapt to the flow of traffic without your having to interact or disable the cruise control.
